Hi Marsha: There was a Charles Rowekamp, a delegate to the Illinois Democratic Convention in 1892. He was from Edwardsville, Illinois - across the river from St. Louis. Two out of three Germans coming through New Orleans in the 1850s also came to or thru St Louis. Gary, Having _finally_ found my immigrant in a census (Edwardsville, 1910), it looks like this could be either my immigrant or his son. Where did you find him? Can I get a copy? Many thanks! --- Gary Stoltman <stopan@optonline.net> wrote: > Hi Marsha: > > There was a Charles Rowekamp, a delegate to the Illinois Democratic > Convention in 1892.
