Kay, When I was there in July it was typical St. Louis weather, hot as hell. However, I live in Indiana, and our August has not been typical either. We've had some really nice days in the 70's. Dear Sherry, You're probably right. The St. Louis area weather has been getting more "moderate" over the years. It has really been a number of years since the last time we had a really severely cold winter or a really insufferably hot summer. I took my mentally handicapped niece to the zoo a couple of weekends ago and we actually needed long sleeves for the visit. I'm sure it must be the result of "global warming".
