Hello, Sorry I cannot help you with the Excelcior Brewery at this time, but my elusive STECHER family had St. Louis brewery ties so wanted to touch base with you. My Stecher family worked first with Mr. Busch, then established Stecher Cooperage Works next door to the old Busch mansion, making barrels and casks for the St. Louis brewing industry.
