    3. Hi Ruth: Don't know. You remind me of the elaborate hand rails around the center court 'swamp.' Believe the Birdcage was 1st - from the Fair and then the Lion House abt 1915. I'm guessing that the Elephant House, Primate House and Reptile House were built between 1915 and the Bearpits, which were installed in 1921,22,23. Suppose you might try contacting the Zoo directly.     3. I think I would also consider checking to see what information the Missouri History Museum may have. I know they have a lot of information and artifacts from the 1904 World's Fair and from all time periods in the history of St. Louis.
