Slightly off-subject but still arelavant concern: When I was in southwest Germany a couple weeks ago I visited two cemeteries where I expected to find graves of my ancestors.  To my dismay I learned that they have a law that the grave remains for only 25 years.  The family can renew the space for another 10 years but then the grave is dug up and reused.  So they spend all that money on large beautiful granite that only remain for 25 to 35 years!  I must say that the graves are well maintained with raised beds of flowers or evergreens.  However, couldn't they find more land or stack the coffins to allow grandchildren the opportunity to see their grandparents graves for the remainder of their lives?
