First, many thanks to the wonderful folks who have been so helpful in locating William Weitz and family in the time frame around 1910. This is one of the most helpful web sites I have found. Secondly, one very kind person found in a St. Louis, MO, city directory in 1910 that William Weitz was vice-president of the Western Cloth Glove Company, 3113 S. Broadway. My question: Could someone please tell me if this company is still in business or if it has changed its name or been bought up by some other company. Also, what kind of business would this company have been in 1910? What would the 3113 S. Broadway neighborhood have been in 1910 and today. I guess this is more than one question.
