Loveland FYI Loveland, Colorado 03-28-04 Dorothy M. Kehn, 78, died at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins on Sunday, March 21, 2004. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 2004, at Allnutt Funeral Service, 650 W. Drake Road, Fort Collins. The Rev. Peg MacGowan will officiate. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at the Drake Road Chapel. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens north of Loveland. Dorothy was born on May 24, 1925, near Pilger, Neb. She was the youngest of four children born to Pete and Linda Steinmark. Dorothy attended Pilger Country School through the eighth grade. After moving to Fort Collins, she finished high school, graduating from Fort Collins High School in 1943. After graduating, she and her mother moved to Flint, Mich., and she worked in the main office of General Motors Chevrolet in Flint. Upon visiting her sister in Butte, Neb., she met Don Kehn, and they were married on Dec. 3, 1949, in Flint. They made their home in Butte until 1964, when they moved to Loveland. In 1969, they moved to Fort Collins, and in 1977 moved to their farm south of Timnath. Dorothy was a homemaker and partner in Don Kehn Construction. Dorothy was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved taking care of her home and dogs. Dorothy had two sons, Douglas, born in 1951, and Dan, born in 1953. She is survived by her husband and her son Dan and wife Judy; several nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, brother and son Douglas.
