Friends, Some of you may be interested in a book about Odessa, edited by Nicolas V. Iljine, "Odessa Memories", published at the end of 2003 by the University of Washington Press. Contributions by Patricia Herlihy , Oleg Gubar and Alexander Rozenboim focus on the architecture and cultural, social & political history of Odessa before 1917. It is full of beautiful color pictures and photographs. (Just be aware that it has virtually no information about Odessa Germans and the German community.)
