    3. Loveland Newspaper Loveland, Colorado 01-06-02 Pauline Krieger, 93, of Berthoud, died Jan. 3, 2002, at the Berthoud Living Center after a one-day stay. She was born Jan. 21, 1908, northeast of Berthoud to Adam and Elizabeth Honstien Krieger Deines. She married John Krieger Jr. on Feb. 12, 1928, in Berthoud. They moved into their home in the fall of 1947 and lived there together until her death. Mrs. Krieger was a homemaker. She loved quilting and made quilts for children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting and cooking family dinners. She loved baking and canning things grown in her backyard garden. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Ber-thoud and loved attending Christian Women's Club with her friends in earlier years. She also was a member of the Busy Bee Club and the Little Thompson Grange Club. She is survived by her husband, John Krieger of Ber-thoud; a son, Willard Krieger and wife Phyllis of Loveland; a grandson, Stanley Buehler and wife Jennifer of Aurora; granddaughters Carol Davis and husband Don of Indianapolis, Ind., and Juli Anne Van Delinden and husband Jami of Thornton; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, George Deines of Longmont; and numerous neph-ews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Louise Buehler; a sister, Margaret Ostermiller; and brothers Henry and John Deines. Viewing will be 1-5 p.m. Monday at the Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home and following the service Tuesday. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church in Berthoud, with the Rev. Rick Underwood officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Berthoud First Presbyterian Church in care of Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home, 1102 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland, 80537.
