HEIDT, Helen, Published: 01/16/2002 Regina, SK HEIDT--On Saturday, January 12, 2002 Helen Heidt passed away at the age of 86 years. Helen was predeceased by her parents, John and Theresa Heidt (nee Degenstein); her brothers, John and Anthony; and her niece, Wendy Rehbein (nee Heidt). Helen is survived by her sister, Elizabeth; her sister-in-law, Ruth Heidt (nee Cresswell) of Kelowna, B.C.; her nephew Bill (Lynne) Heidt of Calgary; her nephew Ralph Rehbein of Craven; and great nephews, Wade Heidt of Vancouver and Derek Rehbein of Craven. Prior to retirement, Helen worked for many years in the provincial civil service as secretary to the Deputy Minister of Public Health. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 18, 2002 at 12:00 noon in Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 2049 Scarth Street with Father Emmett Morrissey as celebrant. Cremation and interment will follow at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined. Friends so wishing may make donations, in memoriam, to a charity of choice.
