    1. [GERmanRUSsian] KAROLINA (ESCH) KRIEG
    2. I am searching for any information on the descendants of Karolina Esch. She was born about 1870 and died in 1953. Karolina was a sister of my Grandfather. My Grandfather came to the US in 1902 from the Odessa area of Russia. Karolina and some of her children wrote letters to my Grandfather in the late 1940s - early 1950s. Some of these letters have now been translated and it appears that she was part of the exodus from Russia to Germany in the later part of WWII. Karolina was married first to Jacob Krieg and then to a Jacob Frimut. She had the following children, all named Krieg; Georg Heinrich Jacob Karl Annette Johann Katarina Margareta Please contact me if you tie into this family. Some of the letters are very moving, they even plead for my grandfather to send them shoes!!!!
