Levern "Leo" Seibel, 77, of Lodi died Sept. 22 at his home in Lodi. A native of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Seibel moved to Lodi in 1941, and served in the U.S. Army in World War II and in the Korean War. Seibel was the manager of Seibel's Rest Home in Woodbridge for many years, and later worked as a door-to-door salesman. He was a member of English Oaks Seventh-day Adventist Church and Lodi Moose Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Seibel of Lodi; his son, Bob Hiser of Stockton and daughter Shirley Dilley of Tulsa, Okla.; brothers Marvin Seibel of Oregon and Emo Seibel of Hawaii; sister Evelyn Miller of Fresno; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
