I-70 Scout newspaper Byers, Colorado 10-05-01 Germans from Russia set genealogy meeting The Denver Chapter of the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia will hold its regular genealogy meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m. at the Argyle, 4115 W. 38th Ave. The chapter is hosting the release of a new video production titled, “A Collage of German-Russian Photographs.” This new 30-minute video brings together over 100 photographic scenes of early day life in the Russian colonies of Frank, Messer, Norka and other villages. It also has scenes of early day German settlers to the steppes of Russia as well during the early turn of the century arrival days to the United States.
