Hi list This isn't a German/Russian question, but a German only. Haven't had any luck on the soc.genealogy.german so thought I see if I could come up with something here. The Ellis Island Passenger Record for someone who I think is my great uncle lists and Ethnicity of German, with a Place of Residence of Zattigdammitz. Anyone ever heard of this place? Can't find it on Mapquest or several German genealogy web pages, so thought I give a try here. Judy
