Name Koepplin, Marvin Age 65 City Bremerton State WA Marvin J. Koepplin, 65, Bremerton, Wash., died Oct. 20, 2001, at a Bremerton hospital, of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. A memorial service was held Oct. 26 at Memorial Lutheran Church. Marvin was born July 25, 1936 in Elgin, to Henry and Hulda (Wegner) Koepplin. He served in the Army from 1956 to 1957 as a specialist third class. He married Ruth Dahlen on June 13, 1964 in Bismarck. Marvin was a nuclear inspector at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 26 years, retiring in 1993. Survivors include his wife, Ruth; one son, Michael, Bremerton; one daughter, Mary Jo Swan, Bothell, Wash.; his mother, Hulda, North Dakota; one brother, Clarence, Dillon, Mont.; and two sisters, Janice Henseler, Tooele, Utah, and Wanda Anderson, Huron, S.D.
