Name Essig, Beverly Age 59 City Bismarck State ND Beverly Essig, 59, Bismarck, died May 21, 1999. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Eastgate Funeral Service, with the Rev. Darrel Aleson officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Beverly Jean Oborsky was born Sept. 20, 1939, at Minneapolis, the daughter of Donald and Marion (Rietz) Oborsky. She was raised and educated at Wayzata, Minn., where she graduated from high school in 1957. She went to work for the General Mills Co. where she worked until 1970. She married Steve Fowler, Nov. 9, 1959, at Parkers Lake, Minn. They continued to live in the Twin Cities area. She married Irvin "Nick" Essig, April 24, 1970. They lived in several places until settling in Bismarck in 1983. Beverly was currently working at K-Mart as a cashier where she had been employed since 1990. Beverly will be sorely missed by her ex-husbands, Steve Fowler and Nick Essig; five daughters and three sons-in-law, Jenny and Lupe Yamez, Brenda and Rocky Yanez, Johana and Theron Perkins, Karla Essig and Monieque Essig; two sons, Shawn Essig and Shelly, and Dale Essig; five grandchildren, Jeffrey, Amanda, Max, Justine and Domonick; and many other relatives and friends.
