Loveland newspaper Loveland, Colorado. 12-19-01 MEINTZER: Rolland Meintzer, 84, of Johns-town, died Dec. 12, 2001, at Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado in Greeley. He was born Aug. 20, 1917, in Loveland to Jacob and Elizabeth Hehn Meintzer. He attended a Loveland country school. He had lived in Johnstown since 1956. He married Mollie Kerbel on Jan. 7, 1942, in Kimball, Neb. She preceded him in death Jan. 19, 1999. Mr. Meintzer served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He managed Loomix Liquid Feed Inc. from 1972 to 1988 and farmed in the Loveland, Greeley and Johnstown areas for more than 30 years. He was a member of the Johnstown/Milliken Chamber of Commerce and was a former member of the Johnstown Rotary, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2585 and St. John's United Church of Christ. He loved woodworking, fishing, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by a son, Kenneth Meintzer and wife Linda of Johnstown; daughters Carol Jordanger and Patty Weber and husband Larry, all of Johnstown; sister Margaret Martin of Greeley; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by six brothers, a sister and son-in-law Norman Jordanger. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Allnutt Funeral Service's Macy Chapel in Greeley. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at St. John's United Church of Christ, with military honors by Greeley VFW Post 2121. Burial will be at Johnstown Cemetery. Memorial contributions
