Greeley Tribune Greeley, Colorado 12-12-01 Helen Dorsey Helen M. Dorsey, 86, of Greeley died Monday, Dec. 10, at North Colorado Medical Center. She was born July 7, 1915, in Lincoln, Neb., to Conrad and Katherine Marie (Bostron) Borgens. On Oct. 25, 1941, she married John G. Dorsey in Kimball, Neb. Mrs. Dorsey was confirmed at St. Paul’s Congregational Church. She also was a member of the First Christian Church in Greeley. She was employed by Greeley-Evans School District 6 and later by the University of Northern Colorado in food service. A homemaker, Mrs. Dorsey loved to cook and especially to make fudge and cookies. She enjoyed dancing and sewing. She loved her family Survivors are her husband, John G. Dorsey of Greeley; Sandra Kay Scott of Evans; a son, Harland G. “Buzz” Dorsey of Kersey; two brothers, Harold Borgens of California and Reinholdt Borgens of Colorado; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Her parents and three brothers, Fred, Ruben, and Carl Borgens, are deceased. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Stoddard Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit from 1-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Diabetes Association in care of Stoddard Funeral Home.
