    3. Greeley Tribune Greeley, Colorado 12-05-01 Paul Margheim Paul Margheim, 65, of Greeley died Saturday, Dec. 1, at North Colorado Medical Center. He was born Aug. 30, 1936, in Denver to George and Marie (Schmidt) Margheim. On Sept. 29, 1962, he married Ella Mae Bruntz in Greeley. Mr. Margheim grew up in Windsor and had lived in Greeley since 1960. He worked for the city of Greeley in maintenance at Island Grove Regional Park. He served in the Navy from 1954-58 on the USS Roanoke and was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Windsor. He enjoyed camping, fishing and polka dancing. Survivors are his wife, Ella Mae Margheim of Greeley; a daughter, Wendy Stalfire of The Dalles, Ore.; a son, Darrin Margheim of New Hope, Minn.; three sisters, Mary Ruth Bopp of Eaton, and Gloria Koch and Diana Tempelfeld, both of Windsor; four brothers, Daniel Margheim of Windsor, Gordon Margheim of Loveland, Robert Margheim of Fargo, N.D., and George Margheim Jr. of Platteville; and a grandson, Derek Margheim of Mankato, Minn. His parents, a sister, Leona Walter, and a brother, Edward Margheim, are deceased. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the Allnutt Funeral Service Macy Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 702 13th St., Greeley, CO 80631.
