Does anyone know if the Dakota newspapers posted obituaries and or death notices of family of Germans from Russia in Dakotas that were still in Russia say after 1900? Hope that made sense. Also, is there sites, etc., where one could read letters from loved ones left behind in Russia? Thanks, Rene' Urdahl researching: ENGEL in Freudental
Yes, some of the ads we saw in the German Language papers were indeed for folks who passed away in Russia. I believe the Kirchbote was like that too... ;j. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, December 13, 2001 2:12 PM Subject: [GERmanRUSsian] Re: Obituaries/Death Notices from Old Country to US > Does anyone know if the Dakota newspapers posted obituaries and or death > notices of family of Germans from Russia in Dakotas that were still in Russia > say after 1900?
