Here is the obit of Edna Ruff Landsiedel, she was my mom's aunt.: >From the "Park Rapids Enterprise" 8 December 2001 - Obit Edna Landseidel Edna Landseidel, 89, of Park Rapids died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001 at the Heritage Living Center in Park Rapids. She was born July 28, 1912 to Jacob and Ann Ruff in Lehr, ND. She was raised on the family farm and attended school in Lehr. She married Adam Landseidel March 19, 1929. They lived in Moorhead until 1970, when they moved to Park Rapids, residing in Green Acres. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Park Rapids. They spent more than 20 winters in Arizona. In April 1995, after suffering a stroke, she became a resident of Heritage Living Center. She is survived by her children, Eugene (Ramona) Landseidel of Peoria, AZ, Delphy (Duane) Haglund of Edina and Cynthia Eberhardt Ainley of Marco Island, FL; sister, Erna Miller of Fargo; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and one sister. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10 at the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10 at the Faith Baptist Church in Park Rapids with Rev. Marty Giese officiating. Interment: Greenwood Cemetery.
