Greeley Tribune Greeley, Colorado 12-18-01 Viola Walker Viola M. Walker, 96, a longtime resident of Protection, Kan., died Thursday, Dec. 6, at Protection Valley Manor in Protection. She was born June 29, 1905, in Hennessey, Okla., to F.M. and ElNora (Patrick) Stimmel. A homemaker, Mrs. Walker was the wife of the late Roy Jefferson Walker. She was the mother of Jeannine Phelps and R.J. Walker, both of Greeley. Also surviving are two sisters, Frances Maupin of Woodward, Okla., and Edith Morgan of Mutual, Okla.; six grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Three sisters and two brothers are deceased. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Protection United Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Protection Cemetery. Friends may visit from 1-8 p.m. Sunday at the Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home in Coldwater, Kan.
