I have a lot of family names in that area. Lutz,Nutter,Underwood,Ryel,Shaw,DeHaven just to name a few. I go to towns in the area at least once a year checking news papers and other records.     3. Loveland Newspaper Loveland, Colorado 09-16-01 Mary Sara Vollenweider, 90, of Loveland, was called to her heavenly home Sept. 15, 2001, at Sierra Vista Health Care Center. She was born Sept. 2, 1911, near Huron, S.D., to Jacob and Lillian Stambaugh Zeigler. She married Holland "Holly" Vollenweider Dec. 27, 1932, at her parents' home near Huron. She was a country school teacher in South Dakota at the age of 18 and taught for three years. She enjoyed being a homemaker and doing volunteer work at the church wherever they lived. She liked to help others make their lives more meaningful by her positive attitude and inspiration. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Holly. Her family brought her much joy, and she loved the special times with her grandchildren and their families. Mary was very creative and liked writing poetry about God's creations. Mary's love of music was an inspiration to many, and she said many times, "What would the world be like without music?" Holly and Mary lived in South Dakota, Lawton and Moville, Iowa, and San Jose, Calif., before moving to Loveland in 1978. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Loveland and also had the loving support of her daughter's church family at Zion Lutheran.     3. Longmont Newspaper Longmont, Colorado 09-22-01 Edna Schellhammer July 9, 1909 — Sept. 18, 2001 Edna Schellhammer of Longmont died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2001, at Longmont United Hospital. She was 92. She was born July 9, 1909, in Nunn, Colo., to Edgar B. and Annie A. (Loach) Reinhart. On June 30, 1930, she married Arthur Johnson. He preceded her in death in 1953. She later married Henry Schellhammer in 1955. He preceded her in death in 1981. Mrs. Schellhammer worked as a chief long-distance operator in Denver in 1929 and 1930. She drove a school bus in Tungsten, Colo., in the 1940s and served as the postal clerk in Nederland from 1947 to 1952. She then worked for the Public Service Co. of Colorado for 20 years, retiring in 1976. She also served as an election judge for a number of years. She was a member of the South Broadway Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Fifth Ward, Boulder, where she was active with the relief society. She also was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge of Boulder. In addition to her husbands, Mrs. Schellhammer was preceded in death by a son, Robert Johnson, in 1942; and two sisters, Annie Bailey and Catherine O'Brian. She is survived by two sons, Charles Johnson of Reliance, Wyo., and Bill Johnson of Lowville, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located on Table Mesa Drive in Boulder. Interment will follow at the Green Mountain Cemetery, Boulder. Visitation will be held at the church, one hour prior to the service. Howe Mortuary, Longmont, is in charge of arrangements.

    3. Greeley Tribune Greeley, Colorado 09-22-01 Mildred Isgrigg Mildred L. Isgrigg, 84, of Greeley died Wednesday, Sept. 19, at the Life Care Center of Greeley. She was born July 13, 1917, in Milan, Kan., to Clarence O. and Nona K. (Hoyt) Zimmerman. On June 6, 1936, she married Louis John Isgrigg in Newton, Kan. He died Sept. 13, 1992. She was reared and educated in Milan, where she graduated from high school. She graduated from beauty college in Wichita, Kan. She and her husband moved to Wichita in 1945. She worked in the employment division for the state of Kansas. In 1993, she moved to Tulsa, Okla., after an illness and lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Jack Gilbert. They moved to Greeley in 1998, and she made her home at Garden Square Assisted Living. A member of the Trinity Christian Center in Wichita, Mrs. Isgrigg taught Sunday school, helped with children’s church and was a supporter of missionary work. Survivors are two daughters, Anita Karr of Denver and Sandy Gilbert of Greeley; a sister, Dorothy Enloe of Huntsville, Texas; a brother, Nathan Zimmerman of Parowan, Utah; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. A sister, Anita Zimmerman, and a brother, Edward Zimmerman, are deceased. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Adamson Memorial West Chapel. Further services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Christian Center, Wichita. Interment will be in White Chapel Gardens, Wichita.
