    3. Hi, I recently located the birth and christening record of my gggrandfather (Ernst Herman Hoeppner) which listed is father as Christian Hoeppner (Hopfner), Lancer in the 3rd ? 4th Lancer REgement; mother Wilhelmine geb.(born) Pflugrad. This was in the year1833, Treptow-Riga, Pommern, Germany; Saint Marian Ev. Church. I found it on film#1334637 at the Family History Library International films section. I understand Pflugrad can also be Pflugradt/Plugrath. So far I have not found their marriage. I have also found other brothers and sisters to my gggrandfather. So I am also interested in the Pflugrad, Pflugradt, Pflugrath name. I am wondering if she was from a different area and they were married there. The earliest child, I have found, was born in 1829, Carl Julius Eduard Hoeppner and he died, but the next child was also given the same name. Do you know where your Pflugrath family was from in Russia and in Germany? I have a lot more records on microfilm to go through so I haven't given up hope on finding their marriage. And as I get more proficient in reading Gothic German I may have to go over previously read films as well to see if I missed anything. If any of these names sound like possibilities to you, I am thrilled to share whatever I find.
