Looking for information on Jacob Ziegler and his siblings, parents, beyond. His parents are Phillip Ziegler and Christine Weible. Jacob was born June 14, 1880 and came to the USA in 1909. I would like to talk with anyone else who is researching this family. Have a great day. Mary Hedger
Looking for info on John Kraemer, no birthdate but probably 1815-1820. His daughter, Johanna born 16 Mar 1844, no place other than Russia, died 12 Feb 1933 Garfield Co OK. Married: Christian Boepple 7 Oct 1863, Arcis Parish, Dennewitz, Bessarabia. Came to America aboard the ship U. S. Ohio in Dec 1876 and settled in South Dakota. Johanna's death certificate gives her fathers name as John Cramer, mothers name not listed. Thanks. Mary June
KRAFT - from STRASSBURG (descendents of Jakob & Julianna (Schweitzer) Kraft) RISSLING - Riesling/Risling/etc (descendents of Jakob Risling and Katharina LEIBHAM <-- we 'believe' she was his wife) of FRANZFELD. RIESLING - Karl "Kirolusha" and Rosa and their 9 children; Konstantine, Margaretha, Theresa, Lisa (Elizabeth), Bendikta, Bans, Perma, Pawa, Trawanla (all girls except first one) from ELSASS, they are mentioned in letters from Odessa to my GF and in church records for St. Paul's in Odessa, but I don't know how to get church record copies. Thanks, Mary in Texas (mother: Kraft/hometown: Spokane, WA) Kraft/Risling/Schweitzer/Leibham/Mitzel/Merdian/Striefel/Sussman/Doerzaph/etc.
It's better to not attempt attachments < they will not be accepted > but rather ask who would like a copy, then send them "off-line"... Let people contact U one-on-one for those requests... YEs, the index to the St.Pete records stops in 1885... as that's all the info that was filmed... >From there on one has to be "clever" or "lucky"...or both to get further leads.. Hope this helps...
