You do definitely have at least one Fischbach in your lineage, that would be Maria Catharina Fischbach, b. 1640, the wife of Philip Heimbach, the mother of Elizabeth Heimbach. Elizabeth Heimbach is the wife of Herman Otterbach and they are the parents of your "Ailsey" Elisabeth Cathrina Otterbach, the wife of John Kemper!!! Some State libraries, such as Texas SL and North Carolina SL I am told have subscriptions. A search of HeritageQuest - people - indicates there are 12 publications pertaining to this family. One is a Fishback genealogy compiled by Willis N. Kemper. Another is only 75 pages. I did not scan the others on the list. I am assuming that Kemper's compilation has an index. Of course, when researching for Germans, we are confronted with the two given names. The family used the second name, and the American county clerks frequently used the first name!!!! Possibly other genealogical databases, such as Footnote.com and Ancestry.com have incorporated one or more of these publications into their websites. I have not checked!!! Good luck!!! I am sure there are Fishbacks in my lineage, but I have not studied it enough to be certain!!!
