Charles Holt fought in the Revolutionary war and was not an officer like I thought but a private. He is a gr. gr. gr. grandfather of mine. His daughter Mary Elizabeth Holt was married to Abraham Grimmett. He is German too. I had thought he was french but I found out he was not. Does anyone here do research on the Holt's?
