Robert, My Charles Holt is German and his family settled in Cullman, Al where the German's who came here from Germanna settled. Why do you think it is unlikely that he is connected to the Germanna Holt's. When I get my information together I will send what I have. I am busy getting ready for Christmas now. My grandmother Laura Wilhite Drake is on my father's side of my family. She married my grandfather George Whit Drake. On my grandfather's side of the family is the Holt connection.
