    1. Re: [GERMANNA] Wilhoit Cemetery in Osage County Missouri?
    2. We have a Wilhite cemetery here in Morgan cty. Al at Wilhite Station. My gr gr grandparent's came here from Tn. My gr gr grandfather was John Jarman Wilhite. Wilhite Station was name for him. We are Wilhites from Germanna. My grandmother on my father's side of my family was Laura Wilhite Drake. We had some Wilhite cousins who were here from Mississippi this past summer and I loaned all of my Wilhite books and information to my brother since, they were visiting him. I must go get my books. I miss looking up things. I believe that John's father was Conrad. I think we are in the line of John and Lucy Stapp but I am not certain. Frances In a message dated 12/6/2008 5:56:34 P.M. That area of Missouri was settled by Germans and most of the towns and businesses have German names. I was hoping that since there are so many Wilhoits on this list that some of them might have knowledge of that cemetery or the families buried there. I don't know enough about Oberkrom's family to know if there was intermarriage with Wilhoits or if it was just the closest cemetery to his residence. My friend is planning a trip there at some point so if I get more information I will share it. Bonnie S. 3. If you are from John Wilhite and Lucy Stapp you must be related to one of their children. I have my Tobias, Jennie, Catherine, Martitia, Mourning, John, Achilles, Jesse M, Lewis, Joshua, Barbara, and Margaret. Several DAR books have John married to other Lucy's which are mistakes. Some marriages were in Woodfood County and it is possible some of the sons went to Tenn. John signed for his son Achilles to marry Polly Hall in Woodford County.
