Just a reminder -- the line from Hans Thomas tested 5 years with NO THOMAS matches until I finally got my brother on the THOMAS bandwagon (actually not a single 12 marker match of ANY surname) VOILA -- we matched. I came back with 38 12 marker matches and 1 off by one for 25 markers and 2 off by 2 for 25 markers. None of them are Allens. His haplogroup was J2 which supposedly is not found a lot in the US. There have been over 300 Allen families tested. I was told the same thing- wait untiil an Allen shows up to be tested and shows a J2 haplogroup. 37 marker showed no matches.
