I run dual monitors on my system (Windows XP Pro) and run IE 7 on one and Mozilla Firefox 3 on the other. The Germanna site comes up on both screens just fine. What is the issue? Genealogy anyone? -----Original Message----- From: germanna_colonies-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:germanna_colonies-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Don Johnson Sent: Friday, December 05, 2008 1:42 PM To: germanna_colonies@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [GERMANNA] Germanna website browser issues Lila, My default browser is Firefox... Sorry that you hate Firefox! I've been trying to access the site via the latest Microsoft Internet Explorer for XP, and it simply refuses to connect! All I can do is suggest trying other browsers, or, ...not! -----Original Message----- From: germanna_colonies-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:germanna_colonies-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of LNiemannG@navix.net Sent: Friday, December 05, 2008 1:08 PM To: germanna_colonies@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [GERMANNA] Germanna website browser issues My experience with Mozilla is bad. Someone else has suggested Firefox, and I hate it. I can do without the Germanna Website, but thanks for trying. Lila ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael L. Hi all, I've been amazed by the flood of emails of the past few days. I've used AOL for years and had no trouble going to the new website. I agree with those who have expressed dismay at the discourse about web access to the new site. This site is about genealogy. Those who have access issues should consult their ISP providers. Let's get back to genealogy and research. And, please, let's be civil.? Name-calling has no place here. Ed
