    1. [GERMANNA] Does anyone know if Chuck Yeager is a Germanna Descendent?

    3. I would sure like to get a sample of Chuck Yeager's DNA. He could well be a Germanna Descendant. When my father read his autobiography he thought that he was possibbly related. 3. Hi Corlee, Chuck Yeager is not a Germanna Descendant, but there is a good possibility that his ancestor who went from Germany to Pennsylvania, and then to Western Virginia (later West Virginia) could have been a brother of our Nicholas. Dan Zimmerman, whom we all met in Winnweiler, on your last trip to Germany, was looking for this connection, as well as the connection of Adam of Woodstock to Nicholas, but I believe he was transferred back to the States before he completed his on the ground research in Germany. 3. Tom, It's interesting that you mention Nicholas Jager/Yager's brother. I have often wonder if that line could ever be found. I just ordered a DNA test Kit for Edwin Yeager of Missouri (3rd great grandson of Daniel Yeager and 7th great grandson of Nicholas[1717]). There is alreaqdy someone in the Yage/Yeager DNA Study that descends from Nicholas. Just for the record, who was the last direct male Yager/Yeager descendant in your line? Fondly, Cousin Corlee

    3. I have a young man who might very easily be persuaded to do DNA testing. His grandfather and Chuck Yeager shared ancestors. I can ask him to test if someone wants to pay for the testing. The grandfather grew up in Hamlin, WV. Marsha Moses On Dec 18, 2008, at 4:20 PM, Corlee Morris wrote: > > I would sure like to get a sample of Chuck Yeager's DNA.
