Wow! First of all, let me say that I am a Pa/Md cousin of the Germanna Willheits. My guy (a cousin) arrived in 1731 in Pa.? I have no direct ties to Germanna beyond that. But I've been reading John's notes for years now and have been reading the email exchanges from many Germanna participants. Today, I've waded through the many emails about the reunion, and I'm astounded by what seems to be quite a bit of criticism about how things were organized. My question is very simple:? Why wasn't any of this discussed before the "reunion"? And secondly,? if fund-raising is such a big issue, why haven't I been made aware of that during all this time?? I don't recall any mention of fund-raising since I joined in two or three years ago. Please understand that I am a relatively new Germanna reader. But I am amazed at reading the emails today.
