John Blankenbaker suggested e-mailing the Germanna newsletter. Then he wrote: "There is hardly any excuse for not using electronic distribution." I for one prefer to sit in my easy chair with a cup of coffee or a bit of Scotch when reading my newsletters. I have dropped membership is a couple of organizations when they required a higher membership fee in order to receive the quarterly journal via regular mail. I am sure there are others who feel the same way. I must have missed the discussion on problems with bulk mailings. Our local genealogical society has used such for years and it seems to work with no glitch. Cary Anderson
