Craig - Let me know what you find out at the library (Re: Stephen Jett, NC). I am very interested in this Stephen Jett in Bute/Old Granville, listed with my ancestors. Other people out of Warrenton/lower Fauquier area in Bute Co., NC area about this time frame too ... Must have been traveling down the "Carolina Road" out of Warrenton, Va. area ..
