Michael, You will want to read all of the information that John B has written about The Little Fork group as well as BC Holtzclaw's article about the same group as your George Wayman was part of that colony. In fact, my ancestor, Jacob Holtzclaw, sold land to your ancestor! We included this area on the First Colony Tour this year and Perry Cabot, a local historian in Culpeper, spoke in depth about the group to us. He is very learned about them and all of their convuluted land transactions! There are also some really good maps of The Little Fork on George's Germanna History pages. Oh, BC does discuss George Wayman and his wife, Catherine Jung/Young--was she related to John Jung/Young, from Trupbach and the Jacob Holtzclaw's nephew, or was she part of the 1717 colony?
