In this note, I will use a published book of history of Trupbach, (Dieter Troeps, Udo Bohn, “Trupbach Ortsgeschichte in Texten und Bildern”), a village now a part of Siegen. Since so many of the 1713 emigrants from the Siegerland came from Trupbach, a study of the occupations that can be found there will help shed some light on the occupations of the First Germanna Colonists. -- John.Blankenbaker@comcast.net
