While trolling Vol. 3 of Nell Marion Nugent's Cavaliers & Pioneers, 1695-1732, looking for patents for a certain Harris of the area around Hanover Co. in this time period, I am running into a Simberman, Christopher. Now, looking in the index under S, I find these listings [without page numbers--that is for you other genealogists] Simberman, Christopher Simmerman, Christopher Simmorman, Christopher There is no listing under Z. Could this be the Germanna colonist Christopher Zimmerman? Research never stops, does it? Only when we are disabled or can no longer see.     3. E.W., I am not sure E.W. but Zimmerman is synonomous with Carpenter, it's english meaning. I have Zimmerman's & Carpenters. Just a thought. Erin T.
