There was a Kilgus, Rouse and Schmidt Family in KY that came from Germany. I know John Christian Kilgus and family came from PA after coming over from Germany to Louisville, KY. My step-father was Roger Schmidt Kilgus. I think some of them lived over the river in Indiana for a while. Somewhere I have some information. Isabelle Schmidt married Christian F Kilgus.
