We had problems with the indexing this year, so the book only now at the printers and we don't expect it until later this summer. We will also explore the possibility of keeping the CD in print for those who were unable to attend the reunion this year. --- On Mon, 7/21/08, Mary Ann Shoemaker <maryshoe@cox.net> wrote: From: Mary Ann Shoemaker <maryshoe@cox.net> Subject: Re: [GERMANNA] GERMANNA_COLONIES Digest, Vol 3, Issue 223 To: germanna_colonies@rootsweb.com Date: Monday, July 21, 2008, 9:01 AM I have gotten in on the end of this discussion of the new book so do not have the facts etc. "The Second Germanna Colony and Other Pioneers" by John Blankenbaker. Would appreciate knowing how I may purchase this volume. Do you have to attend the "Reunion" to purchase? I would certainly like to have a copy. My German ancestors are the Snyders who apparently are of the 2nd Germana Colony. John Snyder with sons, Michael, John and Adam. Also have Stiglers but Samuel came from King George Co. before purchasing 400 ac near Piney Mt. in Culpeper Co. Then there is Thomas Brown (d 1786) but.. another story,. However the title has in it "and other Pioneers". That sounds most interesting. Appreciate any info.
