There is a society . . . First Families of America . . . prove your ancestors were here before 1675 or so . . . don't remember the exact cut-off date. Google it . . . There are at several "First Families." Try "America's First Families," or "First Families of Virginia." I belong to "First Families of Tennessee." One of the most prestigious is "The Society of the Cincinnati." etc, etc. J.
