I loved Rick Willhite's note, and it inspired me to write a note on what I am really looking forward to this July. The Friday evening of the Reunion Weekend this July, the Germanna Foundation will be dedicating the development of new trails and wilderness campsites in Siegen Forest. Members of Germanna Boy Scout Troop 199 (the troop sponsored by your Foundation) and other scouting units will be on hand to escort descendants and guests through the trails, and will also be on hand to assist with canoe rides on the Rapidan River. On Sunday, the Reunion will be held at Hebron Lutheran Church in Madison County. We are planning a special worship service that will include the use of the very communion service donated to the congregation that pre-dates the church building! This is the same communion service that the very earliest of the 1717 families first used down through the generations. --- On Fri, 2/13/09, Rick Willhite <Richard.Willhite@mks.com> wrote: > From: Rick Willhite <Richard.Willhite@mks.com> > Subject: Re: [GERMANNA] Walking your ancestor's step > To: germanna_colonies@rootsweb.com > Date: Friday, February 13, 2009, 11:10 AM > Or just at a very busy time of life. :) > > All three of our kids are/were active in Scouts.
