A correction on my previous post. This is not my Yager line, and I was not being careful as to the dates. Mary E.'s first child was born in 1835 and if the latter date was the correct one she would have been very young to be starting a family. Still pretty young using the earlier date, but not entirely unheard of in those days. Obviously there is a mistake concerning the grave stone date - or the transcriber's ability to see what was really there. I am now wondering if the census record date is more correct which would have had her born around 1817. I have no idea what to put as a date now. I believe there was a typo somewhere along the line. I believe that her death date should be 8 May 1870 which would place her birth at 21 Dec 1815.
