My Adam Fisher, Jr. was born 24 Sep 1750 in Lancaster Co., PA. He married Susannah Jones 1777 in MD. I have his Father as Adam Fisher/Fischer born abt 1710...probably in Germany (wife Nancy) and his Grandfather Johann Adam von Fischerback, born abt 1684 (???) Does this hit anyone's line? Janice

My Fisher family line comes from Ludwig (Lewis) Fisher born abt 1710 in Germany. He married Anna Barbara Blankenbaker in Virginia. His sons were Stephen Albert, Adam and Barnardt/Barnett. I wonder if there is some connection? The name change could be why we do not know more about our Lewis Fisher. If memory serves me right, there is a website on Ludwig Fisher and his descendants. I don't remember it now but I'm sure if you googled it you'd find it.
