    3. OMG, I have a love/hate relationship with GS cookies. Both myself and then my twin daughters were GSs (all of us Brownie through Junior). I sold a LOT in Glover Park in NW DC a couple of years (and in Fall I would hit up the same people for Catholic school raffle tickets!). One year I was cookie mom for my daughters' Junior troop in suburban MD. Most parents were really great about bringing their daughters over to get all the cookies in their order and then getting right out to deliver them, but then there were the reluctant parents ...who had to be called about a gazillion times to come get their 500 boxes out of my townhouse living room and get them to the folks that ordered them. I ordered 'just' 8 boxes this years (2 Samoas - try them heated with French vanilla ice cream; 4 thin mints, and 2 Do-si-os). My daughters and grandbabes will help eat them and purchasing GS cookies is a good ;cause' - I have seen GS make such a different in young lives :-) Kathleen On Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 10:19 AM, Craig Kilby <persisto@earthlink.net>wrote: > I KNOW this is totally off topic, but just in case you have forgot, > if you want any of those delicious girl scout cookies this year, you > have to buy them NOW, in February. 3. Ahem. My little girl, Brigid Rhodes Nuta Howe, is the Program Director for the National Capital Region of the Girl Scouts of America, and originator of the famed "Cookie College" that the little girls attend in this area. I just had to brag. Brigid is a YAGER, WILHOIT, CARPENTER, BLANKENBAKER, UTZ, BROYLES, CLORE, KERKER, WEAVER, FISHER, FINKS descendant. Buy those cookies! The Girl Scouts need the income! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kathleen B.
