    1. Re: [GERMANNA] No Yager/Yeager DNA Study in the works
    2. John, Do you base that we women came from seven women on the book about the "The seven daughter's of Eve". I have a problem believing that the information in that book is true. I think it is all fiction. Have you seen the CD on the "Journey of Man"? That would be a hard pill to swallow.. LOL I cannot believe the story of evolution. I believe we are creative beings. I think the DNA studies are good and the science of the DNA but I don't find any thing other than speculation about the stories that are added. I don't ever go with the flow of the crowd. I do my own investigation and decide for myself. Since, this is such a serious matter I think we need to look under every rock. I have been reading books and looking in to the DNA for a few years. I think it is good to share our knowledge but lots going on with the genealogy that is being put out is in fact, their religion. Frances In a message dated 1/8/2009 8:17:23 A.M. Her daughter would have the same information. Then her daughter would have the same info and so. Following all material lines down from Anna Barbara Shoene, they would all the same mitochondrial info. Now as the info is passed from a mother to her children, there may be some small changes in the information. These are very rare as a change only occurs, on the average, every few thousand years. It appears that 95 percent of the people in Europe are descended from only seven women. See the book, "The Seven Daughters of Eve."
