Thanks for this information! I am descended from the "Little Fork" Joseph Coons, and I had never dreamed his house in Jeffersonton was still in existence. I may never make it to visit (I live in Washington State), so if anyone happens to have a photo, I would LOVE to see it! There is a wonderful Fishback Cemetery in Jeffersonton, which is located between Culpeper and Warrenton. It's next to the Fishback home, Fleetwood, and contains many, many graves. I will send you the owner's contact information privately, but I know that they welcome visitors to both their home and to the cemetery. The home was built around 1732 and the original part is still intact, which you can't tell from the outside! It's amazing to see the actual home with all of the original hardware, locks, stairway leading up to the half story and the smokehouse in front is also original. There are 4 original homes still standing, and occupied, in Jeffersonton, which was the site of the Little Fork Colony: Fleetwood, built ca 1732, John Fishback home Hebron, built ca 1732, Harman Fishback home The Coons home is now the Woolams Nursery and the Martin Fishback home is located just across the road from Fleetwood. I do have a couple of cemetery books for Fauquier Co, but I have to find them, I've been moving things around and they're not at my fingertips at present, but I'll find them this evening. Cheers to you, Cousin! Barb Price Holzklau/Otterbach/Heimbach/Fischbach
