If I am not mistaken ( could be - happens all the time) familytreeDNA will send kits to be available at family reunions -- to be paid for when they are returned with samples. There has been some discussion in the past about the advisability of this for those at the reunion-- someone may feel pressured and have private reasons for not wanting to be tested. However, if it is emphasized that they can take the kit home, think about it and then choose to send it in or not, that might alleviate the anxiety a little. Just make sure that the DNA process is part of the reunion so that everyone understands what the goals are. They can either join through your surname or if Germanna descendants through that group to make it cheaper.Just a thought. Take care. Marilyn
