This might be a good time to remind people that we will be building a web page at Germanna.org for Revolutionary War service records for Germanna descendants. And another for Civil War. Mary's g-grandfather was Johann Michael WILLHEIT, Jr., a 2nd Colony emigrant. Ann WEAVER married Paschal RACER/RASOR; Ann was sister of Margaret above, so had the same WILHITE/WILLHEIT ancestry as Ann. Jonas and Paschal were brothers and if you descend from them, you also have a WILHITE/WILHOIT/WILLHEIT ancestor. I have many, many RACER/RASOR individuals married to other 1st and 2nd Colony emigrants, but it will take some time to dig out the data. The two eldest sons of "Blind" John Yager, Moses and Aaron, were killed in the RW. Cathi Clore Frost located their records recently and should be talking at least a bit about them in her presentation at the Reunion on the Yagers. Also, "Blind" John is considered a Patriot by the DAR for assistance to the cause. I am sure that the other children of Adam (son of the immigrant Nicholas) and/or their children may also have participated....let's hear from their descendants on this!
