We feel that there are more links yet to be discovered, so we welcome all the Germanna and Woodstock Adam, families, as you know there were so many marriages between the families, it is almost impossible to leave anyone out. FYI our line is Adam of Woodstock,John PW, Joseph, John Frank, Madison, my father was John Frank, son of Madiso, further we feel that since I had my dna test and matched two of the documented descendants of Nicholas, that we can be realatively confident that we Yager/Yeagers, are related, but we need more Yager/Yeager to have their dna tested through FTDNA, Germanna Project to further our family connections. To be quite honest I think that all of the germanna families should have some dna testing done to verify their relationship. Our reunion will be held June 24 & 25th of June 2011. It would be great if you coiuld post it in the germanna letter, and if you have any question you can contact our Reunion Coordinator Theresa Wilhelmy at [email protected] Theresa may need your Poatal address in order to send you copies of the planned program, if I can beof further help please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected] Virginia, I promise to keep my future comments shorter. but do not forget that we will welcome any and all Germanna folks to the Beautiful Cumberland Mountains and the pathway to the WEST. Is this just Germanna Yagers or all Yagers? I do assume it is for 2011? I edit the Germanna Newsletter. Would like to put details in the newsletter. It is so unusual for me to get any information on these meetings this far ahead of time!!!!! I could conceivably get you in 4 newsetters before the event. We would love to have any of the Germanna descendants visit, we will welcome those that are related and those that are unrelated, it would be great just to meet people that have common thoughtsabout their family history. those that may be interested in further details, contact our Reunion Coorrdinator Theresa Craig Wilhelmy at craig [email protected] or Yeager family reunion on facebook. for those coming from the East or West I64 will connect with I75 for those traveling from the North or South. It would be an experience that many of tou would never forget, MAINLY BECAUSE YOU WOULD HAVE THE CHANCE TO SEE the rugged country that our ancestors had to overcome just to make it to the bluegrass region of KY where a lot of our ancestors settled before moving futher Westward., just about any family that was in Va can be founfd in KY. Especially the early settlers, for example, Hitt,Clore, Amburgey, Blankenbaker, Yager, Yeager, and many others. just something for you to think about, after all were it not for VA being so generous there would be no KY . --- On Sun, 7/25/10, Barbara <[email protected]> wrote: From: Barbara <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [GERMANNA] Randolph, Monroe, Boone Cos. and Germanna Kin To: [email protected] Date: Sunday, July 25, 2010, 8:07 PM I vote for Cary's idea.
